Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child.

Laugh and Learn Daycare is committed to providing children with top-quality care and education, meeting each child’s individual needs while stimulating intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Early learning forms the cornerstone for future success!

No matter the age of your infant or preschooler, we have you covered! The state of Minnesota licenses our facility, and we offer programs tailored specifically for them – from 1 month up to 12 years.

Our staff is caring and experienced, our facilities clean and safe, and we offer activities designed to foster your child’s physical, social, and emotional development. In addition, parents can stay engaged through electronic reports with daily photos showing progress reports for each child enrolled in our center.

We offer a variety of programs.

Laugh & Learn Daycare provides programs to foster your child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Through Creative Curriculum, we encourage an environment that nurtures creativity while helping each child realize his or her full potential.

At our school, in addition to our curriculum, we offer extra activities that allow your child to explore their interests and expand their knowledge. We’ve got you covered from arts and crafts projects to science experiments. Plus, we monitor their daily progress with photos/videos from their day, electronic reports of daily activities performed, as well as customized notes detailing learning experiences.

The state of Minnesota licenses us.

Minnesota requires all childcare providers to obtain a license before providing care to children to ensure their safety and meet each child’s unique needs. Becoming licensed requires attending an orientation, filling out an application, passing background checks conducted by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and reviewing records substantiating maltreatment of vulnerable adults or children.

Laugh N’ Learn is a family daycare center in Cloquet, MN, with a maximum capacity of 76 children and services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. As a member of Creative Curriculum, this child care center allows teachers to tailor activities according to each child’s social, emotional, and physical needs – helping your child develop imagination while encouraging exploration! Unfortunately, this childcare center does not participate in subsidized childcare programs, but ChildcareCenter can offer inspection reports as a service to families where possible.

We have a dedicated staff.

At our programs, your children are cared for by educators and program staff who meet all education and training requirements in the Child Care and Early Years Act. Every one of our programs is regularly inspected by the Department for Children and Families to ensure the quality of care; furthermore, all educators and program staff regularly attend professional development courses, equipping them with all the skills they need to give their children the best start in life.

Our committed team works diligently to ensure your children are safe and well taken care of while you’re at work. We provide age-appropriate developmental play activities and a hidden curriculum in an enjoyable atmosphere, adhering to state regulations regarding children/adult ratio to ensure each of your kids receives maximum attention and safety.

All our educators are CPR and First Aid certified, have completed vulnerable sector criminal reference checks, possess at least a bachelor’s degree in child development or education, and have experience working with children. Furthermore, we’re dedicated to offering you maximum transparency with your child’s daily progress; through our Tadpoles app, you’ll have access to photos and videos taken throughout the day and electronic reports outlining daily activities.
